With the help and support of his family, Eric Hurkman opened the doors of Fontana Jeweler in January of 2006, located in the Village of Fontana, on the west end of Geneva Lake. At the age of eleven,Eric was introduced to the world of jewelry by a family friend and retired jeweler. With explanations to Eric about how a fine timepiece works and how diamond setting is performed inspired his passion for fine jewelry. Eric’s passion led him directly into some of the most extensive career schooling available.

Eric has traveled around the United States working for the leading diamond houses
of the world designing and creating over one million dollars worth of jewelry. Committed
to excellence, Eric was determined to open his own store.

Thanks to the generous support of the Geneva Lake’s community, in the fall of 2010,
Fontana Jeweler will open its third store expansion. With the store’s new expansion,
come celebrated events showcasing an extensive collection of unique and astonishingly
beautiful jewelry. Fontana Jeweler has committed itself to fine quality and value
